The Results
Joe Adcock started off strong and held off the relentless Gary Matthews to claim the pennant. Ed Konetchy and Mike Mitchell also qualified for Round 5. This is where the journey ends for Jimmy and Matt Williams and Torii Hunter. Carlton Fisk’s hopes remain barely alive due to his positive run differential.
