The Hitters
Half of the combatants in this season are Hall-of-Famers. Dave Winfield leads the pack along with Roberto Alomar, Ernie Banks, and Andre Dawson. They will face Taffy Wright, Nomar Garciaparra, Darby O’Brien, and Fielder Jones. They will all be fighting for the last few spots in Round 7: A .500 record is required to make the cut.

The Results
Other than a bobble in July, Dave Winfield was in charge the whole season to nab the pennant. Andre Dawson and Nomar Garciaparra hung on through the tail end of the season while Roberto Alomar charged to an over .500 season. They all will be venturing on to Round 7. Unfortunately, it is the end of the road for the top hitting team, Taffy Wright, the top home run team, Ernie Banks, Fielder Jones, and Darby O’Brien.
Season Highlights
- Taffy Wright hit .307 as a team with Wright7 hitting a respectable .338.
- Banks99 topped in HRs with 31.
- Dazzy Vance6 struck out 18 Darby O’Briens in an eight-inning losing effort, 7-1.
