The Hitters

Definitely not “better than his brother Joe,” Dom DiMaggio has been a consistent performer in the playoff; this is his first visit to an elimination round. He will face Hall-of-Fame level competition from Edgar Martinez, Pete Rose, Ken Griffey Jr, and other top-notch hitters like Jimmy Sheckard, Juan Pierre, Fred Dunlap, and Bake McBride. After 154 games, we will know who stays and who goes.
