The Results

Ross Youngs did what he does best, out hitting the others with a .293 team batting average and claiming the top slot. Mickey Cochrane combined a solid average with timely power to snag second. Lance Berkman scored third place while Charlie Gehringer finished 6-1 in the final week of the season to secure a fourth place tie with Sammy Sosa. Patsy Donovan, after a horrendous April, managed to get it together and finish over .500 and also claim a place in Round 7. Only Wise and Murray failed to qualify and will head to Round 6.

  • Sosa6, 8, and 3 all had 3-HR games.
