Round 5 Season 34

Al Simmons Featured Card baseball's greatest player playoff

The Hitters

“Bucket Foot” Al Simmons looks to be the class of this season that features plenty of old-timers and a few recent stars as well. We’ll see Buck Freeman, Topsy Hartsel, Harry Stovey, and Socks Seybold representing the former, with Amos Otis, Giancarlo Stanton, and Moises Alou representing the latter. 154 games will tell the tale with the top four moving on to Round 7.

The Results

Al Simmons surprised no one by cruising to victory this season. Only a loss on the final day of the campaign cost him a coveted 100-Win season. Moises Alou finished on fire, going 23-15 down the stretch to leapfrog Harry Stovey and Giancarlo Stanton. They will all see action in Round 7. Otis, Hartsel, Seybold, and Freeman try their luck in Round 6.
