The Results

Mike Donlin continued his winning ways, besting the field over the 154-game schedule. He led the teams in average and his doubles allowed him to stay ahead of second-place Earl Averill. Hanley Ramirez finished strong as Maury Wills fell apart down the stretch. Richie Ashburn held on the fourth and final slot ahead of a surging Kent Hrbek, who failed to move on to Round 7. Traynor, Green, Hrbek, and Wills all head to Round 6 for a last chance opportunity.
