The Hitters
Hack Wilson has the number one seed in this season and will face some of the lesser known (by me) participants in the tournament. He’ll see action against Roy Cullenbine, Roy White, and Roy Thomas, as well as Curtis Granderson, Yankee Hall-of-Famer Tony Lazzeri, Carl Reynolds, and Joe Adcock. The top four finishers get a ticket to Round 7.

The Results

Hack Wilson started off strong and continued that way throughout the season, winning handily. Second through fifth was a tight battle with Adcock, Lazzeri, White, and Cullenbine all qualifying for Round 7. Despite leading the league in team hitting, Roy Thomas couldn’t buy an extra-base hit to save his life. He joins Reynolds and Granderson in Round 6.

Season Highlights
- A low average season, Roy Thomas led individuals with a meager .293.
- Hack Wilson7 led the league with 42 round-trippers.
- Walter Johnson6, pitching for Roy White, had 301 Ks on the season.
- Joe Adcock4 and two different Hack Wilsons each had 3-HR.
- Hack Wilson8 had a 7-RBI game.
